General Update Procedure:

• **MANDATORY! Verify your browser version is Firefox 🦊 Firefox 42 64-bit or Firefox 42 32-bit and does not update. (full instructions here).
• To restore or update your Craigslist software, just find the update link in your programs directory for the applicable software, and click it. Once it has completed your software should be updated and or restored.
• If the update program link did not work, please contact support by using our contact form. Once you have completed the mandatory reading of listed documents, if you still have trouble, let us know what you need.
• If you have made a support request for an update, and they have sent it to you, you can find it on your downloads page.
• We do not provide free updates if you have bought your license before Wednesday the 21st of April, 2027.

Flagger Updates:

To update or restore CraigsFlagger Pro, just go to your programs directory under Craigslistsoftware / CraigsFlagger Pro / and click the update link. This will install the latest version of CraigsFlagger Pro into your system; provided you purchased your license before Wednesday the 21st of April, 2027. Be sure your Firefox browser is still 🦊 Firefox 42 64-bit or Firefox 42 32-bit.

CL updates their code every so often; we fix it, you run your updater – easy peasy! When Craigslist does an update, we fix it for free and update you with the latest version for 6 months from your original purchase. We also continue to update and enhance all of our related sites, software and tutorials to serve you better. When Craigslist makes a change, we find out only after that fact. This is how it goes, we get no warning. all we can do is respond after the fact. Updates are free for 6 months. When they are required, we will post the notice clearly in the members area. Thanks again for your patience!

We don’t own Craigslist.. ultimately, its their website. We will always do our best to put you at the front of the line. We have obviously changed the flagging system, and leveled the playing field a little bit.Did you notice the stars beside the posts? The new buttons to change around the index results? The account and post links in the top of the page. They also even added the omit feature years after we demonstrated its awesomeness. Seems they are coming around a bit and adding some functionality based on what we did. It also seems Craig Newmark himself has our software, and obviously finds it quite useful since he has been implementing our features into his website. Great! glad we could contribute. Our CraigslistSoftware project has changed the face of Craigslist forever, in more ways than one. Hi Craig! (big fan!).

If your license with us is still valid, (less than 6 months old), you can access your free update to replace your non working CraigslistSoftware. If your expired (purchased before Wednesday the 21st of April, 2027), and want to buy it again, you can grab it again from our store.  To install an update for any product, you need to click the update link found in your applicable program directory to get your free update, any time you see the update notice above is affecting any of your products. If the auto update feature still is not resolving the problem, then please contact support by using our contact form, and we will get your free replacement right away!

Our ads are in Craigslist right now, and all of the spammy competition is gone from our own market in the sections we use. Our own ads are not being flagged off either! If you want to achieve this level of success for yourself, you need to read our tutorials, guides, and watch our videos, then read it again. It’s all here, everything you need to go as far with Craigslist as you like. You might be wondering, is this “black hat, white hat”, gray? This is capitalism. You decide what is right and wrong for yourself on Craigslist, but in our group we have 2 main rules, 1) Don’t use our information to steal. 2) Don’t steal our information.

I don’t care what other people think about my business, this is my life, my destiny. There are 7+ billion people out there ready to give you their entire invalid opinion about your business. These tutorials outline some of our advanced tactics and strategies in online business. We make hundreds of thousands of dollars online, every year. Craigslist is a large part of this success. We intend to show you exactly how this is done using Craigslist, and assisting you with our software that we use every day. Flagging is but a very small part of our motivation here. Making money is paramount. There are 24 billion Craigslist page views per month. Get back in the ring. Move forward, count your blessings, and play nice. Go slow, take only what you need. If you terrorize someone, just keep in mind, they need to make a living too. They will look into google for answers, they will find us as well, and then you will have a much bigger and more permanent problem. This is more an exercise in thinking out of the box. Adapt, and substitute tactics as required to suit your methods, and your conscience.

Craigslist, just what is it?

The website in its current form went live in 1996. It has had massive changes over the years of course, most of them have been internal, hidden from view. Craigslist now operates in over 50 countries. Some of the language options include, French, German, Dutch, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese and of course English. This website can average as many as 24 billion page views a month! Wow, no wonder we all flock to the flame like moths.

We want to post for free, and be able to stand out. Their policies make this somewhat difficult though. They don’t advertise on their site, and they are not about to let you either if they can help it. Some of us need to overcome their obstacles and hypocrisy and generate an income.

Are there any mechanics or farmers in the crowd? Remember the days of the old tractors with the big flywheel on the side? They would hook up big long belts to that flywheel and run their bailers, swathers, and all of their other accessories. The tractor would be the generator, the rotating mass that could extend it’s movement to all different manner of external devices. Craigslist is just such a generator. Rotating mass of traffic. You can run a cable to your external equipment (website, telephone), and use something that is already in motion to power your business in much the same way.

The principal of a traffic generator is not hard to comprehend, but I’m just starting at the beginning for the folks at home who just tuned in. It’s a numbers game. If you have something, anything to sell, be it a service, or a product, if you show it to enough people, you are going to sell it for more than you paid. So, all you need to worry about now is supplying the masses, 24 billion page views aught to be enough to double your money 24 hours a day, non stop.

Now you need to open up your conduits, extra phone lines and extra people or fancy messages to answer the calls. Hire a shipper. But wait… the phones stopped ringing. What the hell? All the money you made is going right back out the window in higher overhead and employee salaries! Better double check your ads.. they aren’t coming up. But you posted this morning as usual.. the account says they are there. But they aren’t coming up. Craigslist giveth, and Craigslist taketh away.

You have been ghosted, and softblocked. Posting your phone number alone, will get you ghosted now. Your dreams are crumbling, and your bills are mounting. Be careful folks. Don’t overreach. If you decide to roll those dice trying to expand, be prepared for the crash. One slip and they will make a monkey out of you. This course is to help you get your business back on track. Never mind what he’s getting away with. You first need to focus on what you can get away with, and get those phones ringing again. Then you will have time and money to worry about the competition.

Your main problem is not always your competition. It is the flagging party who has taken it upon themselves to control Craigslist in your area. They conspire in secret the chat rooms they communicate with, and they post the targets among themselves, and utterly vanquish all who displease them. If you get any of their attention, you will be eradicated, solid accounts or not. They have their own terms of use philosophy. You must take their pulse, and proceed delicately to avoid getting their attention. As for me, I’m so obvious, double spaced, full of color and video and symbols in my titles etc.. why do I get away with it? Because my ads are funny? Possibly. I enrich the users/flaggers experience with my ads, and I demonstrate the power of Craigslist to the posters and the readers alike.

The Craigslist flagging system is set up to make it seem like the whole world is against you, and ripping your ads down as fast as you can put them up. If this is the case.. you are simply softblocked. It’s not your competitors, Craigslist has reduced your flagging threshold for whatever reason. (perceived TOU breaches or flagrant commercial activity) To fix this fast, get a new IP address (within 50 miles of the list you’re posting in), new Email account, and a new Craigslist account in that order. Then get all new Titles, and new Content. Put your phone number in a photo if you have to disguise it, or get a digital number and forward it to your own line. It takes 10 minutes to put you back online if you follow those exact steps in order. If you want to stay in the game, follow our posting guide perfectly, and you will be out of the woods, and back in the game.

I post 3 different ads, with my keywords in place, and cleverly written into the text at the bottom, not hidden, not a glob at the bottom. Just the way google likes it. Each ad has a different tossable digit phone number. My phone number is built into the photo, as is the rest of my contact details. I post in the closest dealers section of my services offered. You can also post outside of the services section with no PVA. All 30 of my competitors would flag me, if they thought it would do any good. But they have been so very unsuccessful, that they have been psychologically beaten.

With this method, each day or two all my flagging thresholds are reset, and my ads remain bulletproof. Do not leave old outdated ads on the site for everyone to add a flag here and a flag there until your entire account becomes automatically softblocked! Renew or delete them. It’s pretty simple when you change your behavior. Never mind the Craigslist TOU so much. It’s the local flagging party you have to pass to enter most sections. The faster you learn how Craigslist works, the faster you will see lasting results.

Rule number one, do not try to communicate with them, you do not want their direct attention. They don’t even speak the same language as you, nor are they in this for the same reasons. They will hunt you down. They will phone you, find out your address, your business and mark you for life, you cannot negotiate with them.

Rule number two, never post commercial ads in the wanted section. They will hunt you down and follow you even back into the services section and attempt to starve you out of business.

Rule number 3, ALL CAPS ARE NO GOOD. Be creative yes, but repeating free free free and ALL CAPS and obvious lies (win a free ipod) etc will get their attention. The rest of their rules are up to you to carefully find out and test. Slowly increase your activity and test their waters. Certain products will get the attention of SOPA defenders, make sure you aren’t selling something that might fall under this net if you don’t want their attention as well. Even the google bot can flag you if it decides you are using cl to spam the google index. Yes, they are integrated into Craigslist, and a part of this game. We actually caught Google removing our ads by using tracking software. Google bot was the only one to visit our ads, and the next thing you know, flagged and removed. It only took one flag from them to do it, for your information. This is a very big secret Craigslist doesn’t want anyone to know about. Their spambot in part is: GOOGLE!

If your product gets the negative attention of Ebay, you can get removed, softblocked, ghosted, flagged etc. Ebay bought a large portion of Craigslist and has sway. This behavior by Google and Ebay is defined as antitrust. It’s not fair. Write a letter, make a lawsuit, or switch products, and get back in the game before the darn bills come around again, you choose where you put your energy. Remember folks, this is a numbers game. You don’t have to be the iPhone King, you can be the brass fixture scrapper, still double your money, and have zero competition.

24 billion page views friends, you can be anything you want to be. If you can learn to think outside of the box, guess what..? You will not be so easy to contain because you’re not in a box. The local flagging party is committing economic fraud. This is the criminal term for flagging all of your lawn care service ads, because one of their uncles advertises lawn care services. People tell themselves that these flaggers have nothing better to do than sit in their parent’s basement and flag your ads. That’s incorrect. Do you think it’s crossed their minds that they are controlling Craigslist? Do you think it’s come up in discussion at the dinner table? Do you think someone, or someone they brag to might have got the idea that they can divert traffic to their interests and profit? They want you to think it’s random. They don’t want you to get hip to their trick and form a group of 20 people, mark off your territories, post the targets, and commit this type of economic fraud. Stand up for yourself, and learn our ways. You don’t need 20 people to walk softly and carry big stick. Just 5 IP’s and our software will automatically clear your cookies and give you 4 flags per IP address. There’s your 20 people.

The major centers all have groups of students that know each other from computer class. Get it now? That’s a big reason why this flagging system is bull crap. 20 people can have a little monopoly mafia and lock you out of anything they want to, and there is little or no recourse. The best that you can do with them is to find out how to coexist among them, and let them to continue to annihilate your competitors. They are another cog in this wheel, you can use them. Post your antagonistic competitor’s phone number and his business in the wanted section, and say “you flaggers keep on flagging, I just go back to the top. You can never stop me, I just made a thousand dollars yesterday hahaha!!!” Post it from an old softblocked account you don’t use any more. Do it every day.. Watch how fast the little gollums come to defend their “precious”. They will hunt that guy down through his phone number in all of his ads, and help you flag him. So you need to test the waters, and find out what situation is affecting you, and adjust your behavior before the bills come. Remember, Freddie’s Lawn care can easily become Frank’s Sprinkler & Gutter services with a new virtual number in 5 minutes. You’re not trying to make a name brand on Craigslist, you’re just trying to make the phone ring and close the sale.

If you’re having a battle of pride, and insist on branding, insist on all caps, etc, the battle is within you. The reality is outside of you. We just gave you a good dose of it. You are not just here to flag people. That much is obvious. You were probably playing nice in your own sandbox until you ran into a bully or a gollum. We are designing this course to demystify this entire Craigslist based business so you can get back on track. This is about making money, not revenge. Yes, we give you this software, and train you to use it effectively, but this was not likely why you are one of our members. You are an entrepreneur. An angry frustrated entrepreneur with some technical problems yes, but you are here to make money. The amount of support we have received from our members has allowed us to expand our course to include various other topics and methods to help you gain wealth from Craigslist, and the internet in general. A personal understanding of each other’s basic needs will help you achieve this.

We are all people. If you approach this issue from a psychological point of view, you are heading in the right direction. How do we give the bad guys a lesson, how do we keep under the radar of the flagging parties, how do we inspire the customer to call our phone and subscribe to our service or buy our product? We need to understand each different mind set, and apply the appropriate psychology and tactic to achieve each of these three goals. So take a deep breath, center yourself, and read all we have laid out. Take the keywords and concepts we introduce you to, and explore them further all over the internet and forums. Anything that’s missing, will be added as soon as we arrive at that point, in days, not weeks. Anything that’s there is subject to change and enhancement as our team shares the job of giving you our combined experiences. (and as Andy puts in funny graphics) Before you know it, you will be past this initial learning curve, and be once again, happily playing in your sandbox unmolested and prosperous.

This entire course was unplanned, and an extra bonus for our members to help answer the various hundreds of emails that pour in from our members. The original software was sold with just a set of instructions, and not much more. Over the years, we decided not to limit our support, but to answer you all collectively in the pages to follow.
